Emergency First Aid
MKD Health & Safety Emergency First Aid course is a 1 day course designed for anyone requiring training as an Emergency First Aider. This course enables trainees to act as back up for the First Aid Responders in the workplace. On completion of this course trainees will understand the responsibilities of the Emergency First Aider, provide treatment for preserving life, promote recovery and prevent situations from worsening.
Learners who complete the course will be able to provide treatment for an injury which does not require the services of a medical practitioner or nurse.

This is a highly interactive course with practical skills assessed throughout and a written test upon completion of training.
Successful candidates will recieve a 2 year MKD Health & Safety Emergency First Aid Certificate.
This course can be tailored to include the PHECC accredited Cardiac First Response Course which gives trainees practical experience and PHECC certification in the use of an AED.
